Custom CD with development of artwork, music sound track, and prototype production.
A parent wanted a unique gift for a teenage boy who enjoyed the Grand Theft Auto III video game. The sound track features opera music patronized by characters from the game's Italian mafia family. The gift concept was to burn public domain music, mix in audio clips from the official game site, and create a one-of-a-kind CD. From an artistic standpoint, the artwork is faithful to the game and is suitable for use as both a jewel case insert and a CD label.
The following image shows the completed CD with label and jewel case. The track arrangement appears on the left.
Note the same layout works well both as a case insert and a label. The design accomodates labels with large hub holes.
